UK-based startup Zegami had already developed an AI-enabled image analysis platform for scientific and medical imaging at the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. In this interview, CEO Roger Noble explains how the company collaborated with the University of Oxford to analyze a research database of lung X-rays, and develop a machine learning model to identify cases of COVID-19.
