Yes, that may all be true and that possibility is completely horrific. Just as it may be true that we will have to vote for regime change & destabilized nations or Trump. TPP or Trump. Drones or Trump. Private Prisons or Trump. Erosion of civic trust or… well either candidate will probably make this whole voting thing unnecessary.

Its almost as if we are offering a terrible choice: “Cut your wrist or stab your face… Hey you might live though a cut wrist if your healthcare is covered.”

But that would require more than 90% of US media to be owned by 6 companies… and it would also require a lot of bloggers to echo things like, “if you vote for a 3rd party you are throwing your vote away”

What makes it impossible for a 3rd party to win? Only the belief that they can’t. Can we stop shaming people for wanting to vote how they want? That would be a great way to encourage civil engagement.
