Bad Poetry: Forbidden Love

My heart is full with love and joy for him.

I know I can’t be trapped in his blue eyes,

But they’re pretty.

More blue than the blue ocean.

I love him.

I’d cut off my limb

Just to be with him.

But the future

Is so

Grimm.

I cry because I am sad

But no one can see my real pain.

My tears stream down my face like

The drops of water in the rain

Because when it’s raining,

The world is crying.

But it will never be as sad as me,

The saddest of them all.

I think of him and

My heart skips a beat.

But deep down, I know we will never be.

We walk on eggshells

To keep our secrets,

And my heart feels so heavy

Just to think of a life without love,

And without him.
