Get up and move. The love and hate story of Rhayanna and Apple’s activity app.

Two years ago I purchased my first apple watch, little did I know that it would change my life completely. Although the watch has hundreds of useful tools, there is one that stands out to me the most, the activity app.

At this of my life, I was not very active; But then I got the watch and It all seemed so easy, all I had to do to complete my goals was stand for 12 hours, exercise for 30 minutes and move enough to burn 600 active calories.

Well, I rapidly became addicted to reaching those goals. Reaching my daily goals became a priority. I could not end my day without filling all my circles, it was satisfying.

I went from never working out, to loving any type of physical activity in matters of weeks. And now, two years later I am training for my first marathon, THANK YOU APPLE!

But nothing is ever perfect. The same way that this app makes so happy it also makes me very upset, because sometimes life happens and I am not able to dedicate as much time to exercising as I wish.

Regardless of the roller coaster of emotions, this app has become very important in my life and without it, I would have a very difficult time tracking my fitness goals.
