I was really worried this article was going to stray to the “We need more clear implementation of JS” thus calling for yet another JS compiler. I’m thrilled with your idea of framework guidance and you can count me in!

Another way to help break this framework ennui might be to teach people how to build framework-less/vanila-js sites, without the use of browserify or jQuery. Maybe this recommendation site can link to approved/recommended tutorials to help viewers learn best practice instead of just sending them into the world to learn vanila-js from a random blog or tutorial which might not demonstrate the best practices.
