Probably not.
You younger folks seem to take Trump at face value. We oldsters — those of us who have lived long enough to see Trump in action over many years time — understand that he is currently doing nothing more than pandering to the lowest common denominator.
He would not have written that paragraph. Instead, he’d have simply said: “He’s full of shit.” He is a man who will utter whatever words people want to hear if it will get him where he wants to go.
He’s not delusional, although many of his supporters are; he’s a businessman. Reality and common sense arrive at the formal contract signing.
All that outré hyperbole? It’ll never happen. It’s theater. If he’s elected, you will hear wailing and see the gnashing of teeth, and most of it won’t be coming from those who didn’t vote for him.
I hesitated to comment, because I don’t want to encourage anyone on the fence that a Trump presidency is good idea. He has made some glaring missteps over the years, and he has not always recovered well. Admittedly, he has a decent record of learning from his mistakes, but I’m not sure how effectively it will transition from business to public office.
This is what you’re up against, and it’s what Hillary’s and Bernie’s supporters need to speak to.
As for me, my views align just a tad more closely with Bernie’s (93%) than Hillary’s (92%), but I also have beliefs in common with Trump (39%, although I have no doubt I am more closely aligned with Trump’s reality than with the fantasy he spins for his mob). See here for the source of those numbers:

It’s a useful tool for anyone who is not certain how to translate her beliefs into the vote that will get her where she wants to go.
Maybe Susan Sarandon and her ilk should give it whirl.
