I commend Mr. Shapiro on this article. It is helpful, and I like that it includes useful tips and information for both freelancers and clients. The layout makes it easy to choose the concerns that pertain to you. Mr. Shapiro has done an excellent job of pointing out the issues that plague our online freelance community. This article also acknowledges that no one has all the answers and the benefits of working together, many great minds lending to one powerful voice.
Freelancing is exciting at times, but daunting for the most part with opportunities, seemingly hiding around every corner on the world wide web, but in the end, leading to disappointment, frustration, and often, low pay.
That is why I appreciate IAPWE for the opportunity to work with a company that shows, not tells by working hard to provide an informative, resource filled and highly effective service for anyone seeking legitimate work opportunities.
No one is perfect, and IAPWE does not claim to be, that is why I have grown to trust this company. They, like any other company, have growing pains and openly state this. Mr. Shapiro, along with others in crucial positions, works tirelessly to build a reliable and enduring online platform for freelancers and the companies in need of their expertise.
There are tons of resources on the IAPWE website, but one suggestion I have, with newbie freelancers in mind, is that the jobs board have a separate area that lists companies who are willing to accept applications from freelancers who have skill, but not degrees or extensive experience which makes it tough to compete against those who do. It is pretty discouraging to click on job after job, only to find you do not stand a chance because you do not meet the criteria. However, the website’s strengths far outweigh any weakness.
