The concept taken to explore are ORDER,CHAOS and ISOLATION. Different ideas and patterns are used to depict each concept.
ORDER
Four black squares are used to make an arrangement of topic “ORDER” has been shown below. A standard design and pattern has been followed while making the four squares. While doing the arrangement for order the first that came to my mind was long queues, the arrangement of the card tapping machine when we enter into the ISDI campus (lobby), ladder etc.
BEST IDEA FOR ORDER
I chose this as my best idea out of the 8 blocks because I got my inspiration from the long queues outside a bank during DEMONITISATION.
ISOLATION
Four black squares are used to make an arrangement of topic “ISOLATION” has been shown below . I have used different dimensions of squares to show how one square out of the four is separated or stands alone out of a clutter.
BEST IDEA FOR ISOLATION
I chose this as my best idea out of the 8 blocks as it shows how in a world of dominating people a person can stand for himself/herself and try to overcome all his fears.
CHAOS
Four black squares are used to make an arrangement of topic “CHAOS” has been shown below. Different dimensions of squares are used . I got my inspiration from a crowd at a concert , day to day piling of work puts a person into chaotic state of mind, entangled telephone wires etc.
BEST IDEA FOR CHAOS
I chose this as my best idea out of the 8 blocks because the time when I was thinking of ideas to depict chaos with just 4 squares I was in a chaotic state of mind so I related that situation in depicting what is there in this block.
CONSTRAINTS
1. Only four squares were to be used to symbolize a word.
2. No other objects could be used to do the assignment.
3. The 4 squares had to be placed within a square only.
4. Colour restrictions — only black and white were to be used.
