First attempt to sketch

Today I get to the point (finally) to sketch something. I was studying the content of the pre-work and watching multiple videos of this matter to get into this world.

The challenge was to sketch while I was watching a Ted Talk by Margaret Gould Stewart (Facebook’s director of product design): How Giant Websites Design For You.

I must say that at the beginning was a bit difficult, I felt kind of lost and I could not focus. Then I remembered that a good designer doesn’t have to be an artistic designer, and I started all over again.

I really felt that I was drawing without any meaning evolved, that I was doing something without any sense. Once I finished, I looked at it and surprisingly I took all the content from the video out of the sketch.

I will definitely do this more often from now on, not only for the design purpose but to engage things quickly and easily. Please check the sketch and let me know what do you think.
