Kipp, outstanding article.
On top of you have said I’d add that it’s true that short-term marketing tactics have come like a locust on the channels it approaches but (IMO) it‘s also true that there is so much cheap content around because there is an audience for that.
McDonalds is still around because they keep on eating cheap burgers. We, marketers, have the responsibility not only of creating better content but to educate about why our content is “good fat content” (even if the CTR suffers just a little bit).
