He has previously worked as an adviser of the HR and Legal Management of Brazilian company Grupo Rede (Caiuá Serviços de Eletricidade, Empresa Elétrica Bragantina, Empresa de Eletricidade Vale Paranapanema, Companhia Nacional de Energia Elétrica) and as a director for Brazilian company Fundação Rede de Previdência Privada.

He has held his undergraduate degree in Law at Mackenzie with extension course in Business Administration.
