Not shipping isn’t a dealbreaker (for intern positions), I’m just recommending that you try and ship something, as you’ll learn a lot of things you can’t from simply doing mockups.

Focus on creating comprehensive case studies for your contributions in your internship (assuming at least some parts of your work shipped).
