“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts” – Malachi 3:1

Dear Friends,

Q – Has this prophecy been fulfilled? If yes, when was it fulfilled?

A – The above mentioned prophecy was fulfilled on October 22, 1844. This prophecy was fulfilled when Christ entered the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary. William Miller was the “messenger” who prepared the way for the “Messenger of the covenant” (Jesus Christ) to enter into the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary to begin the investigative judgment.

Similarities between William Miller and John The Baptist.

  1. Both prepared the way for Christ to begin His work.
  2. Both did not live until they could see the fruit of their work.
  3. Both did no healing miracles, yet they are God’s greatest messengers.
  4. Both erred in the end, but are still saved.
  5. Both received no support from their temple/church, they proclaimed the truth alone.
  6. Both brought thousands of souls to Christ, and their work still continues to bring many more.
  7. Both surely have a very special crown waiting in heaven.

If Christ can be compared to the corner stone of the Second Coming Truth, William Miller is the first stone on that corner stone. It is truly sad that many Adventists, even leading Pastors and Leaders in our church do not know who William Miller is.

If you call yourself converted, if you consider yourself to be a child of God, and if you don’t know these precious present truths, you are certainly deceived. Wake up from you slumber and embrace these life-giving everlasting truths. I hope and pray that you were blessed by this message.

Regards,

Richard Daniel
