Oh Jessica, I wish there was a magic potion to make this all go away. But I am so grateful for your courage sharing this. We both had failed parents making trust and being trusted a lifelong core value for me.

But look at and leverage your loving community that embraces you. I echo Pierre’s “compassion et tendress fraternelle.” I see you as a loving/lovable victor. Please don’t let his failure define you as a lifelong victim.

Love is all around us, when we take the risks making us a little vulnerable, open to the possibilities. Even in nature.
