Joe Clarke — GB Canoe Slalom Athlete

Joe Clarke is a Canoe Slalom athlete who won gold medal for Great Britain in kayak slalom at Rio 2016 Olympics. Clarkes’s journey of achievements starts from Junior through to U23 then senior European and World Championships. The interesting thing is that Clarke not only won Britain’s first Olympic medal, but secured gold in a time of 88.53 seconds. Richard Beese feels inspired by Clarke’s dedication toward his aim.
