Wind power industry buries fire figures

“The green lobby is keeping people in the dark and keeping the true extent of this frightening problem unknown.”

Desperate stuff. Compared to the number of people killed and injured in obtaining, distributing and using fossil fuels, the problem of turbines catching fire is not just miniscule, it is negligible. A single fatal incident, not confirmed, over twenty years of turbine use is hardly frightening, unless you’re frightened of your own shadow.

If this is the most frightening story you guys can come up with about turbines, you’d better go back to the knitting.
