Like other industries (financial services, travel, retail), 3PL has long been nourished by the inefficiencies and a lack of transparency in the freight market. And just like those other industries, the elimination of inefficiencies will set in motion an avalanche which will turn the whole freight market upside down.

At IBM, we are currently evaluating Slack for team communication after frequent requests from folks in design and development. Since they asked for it they hopefully know what they are doing, but that remains to be verified.
