Wow. Our welfare system here in Australia certainly leaves a lot to be desired, but yours sounds…

The system is designed to ensure that the ruling class retain control of the lives of the working class. The only way the average citizen can survive and support themselves (and a family) is to supply their labour to the enrichment of the owners of capital.

And let me state that I am all for capitalism, before my views get misconstrued. But it has to be a fair system where inequality (which is a necessary result) is limited and the distribution of income and wealth provides dignity to every citizen, whether they own the means of production or are in the business of supplying the labour to make it run.
