My Story
Think, Explore, Create, Inspire
What a time for storytelling! Technology is booming and the potential reach of your story is endless. We have the capacity to write in a simple blog or post a YouTube video and easily reach millions of people. How awesome is that? Now the hardest step in this process is thinking of what you want to share and executing.
Before we get into all of that, let’s just think of the last time you went out to try something adventurous.
Ask yourself what was the motivating factor?
I want people to answer this question because I truly believe inspiration is all around us and it’s a matter of how it entered our lives.
The foundation behind any idea or creation is created around inspiration. Inspiration is built from storytelling.
Let me explain. Why is it that you have a sudden urge to travel, try a new hobby, experience new food/cultures, etc? My answer is that we’ve all seen pictures, heard stories, and watched movies. How else would we know what a country across the globe looks like without actually going there?
It seems like a weird way to put it, but this is how I personally view life and I love it. I grew up playing basketball and when practicing got boring all I had to do was turn on a short clip of Kobe Bryant hitting the toughest jump shots or watching the Detroit Pistons win a championship to get motivated again.
Long story short, I’ve been inspired in so many ways that I really want a chance to try and tell “my story”. I want to start writing blog posts/take pictures/create film to showcase what I believe, anything that I’ve learned, and, simply put, tell a good story to inspire others because hey everyone could use a bit of inspiration in their lives.
So that’s my goal to everyone reading this page. I love to be inspired and want to make sure that I can spread it through my own stories. Touching back on the last sentence of my first paragraph, the hardest part here is thinking of what I want to share. I’m hoping to combat that by not worrying/thinking too much about content and simply executing.
