Abel, I saw below where you write high capacity magazines look frightening and to some who do not regularly handle guns and that may be so but it does not imply limitations on that right are needed. Indeed it implies a lack of familiarity with firearms that is unhealthy as those are the types of people who cause accidents when they do handle firearms. Perhaps a little education could replace a load of criticism in many cases.
There is much speech that is deemed frightening by some who can not handle free speech but again the implication is not control of nor limitations on such speech but perhaps educating the audience to the fact that there will be those who disagree with them and they will always be around.
One would do well to learn how to deal with it without advocating limits be placed on that which one either does not like or cannot understand. If we do not exercise our freedoms, vigorously, they will atrophy and like unused muscles they may never be restored to their former strength if in fact at all.
Given governments natural tendency is that of limiting freedoms we need to advocate for more freedom not less.
