I need to view this film again, though I must confess when I watched it the first time I was troubled by the drug use. I've been studying screenwriting and filmmaking more, so some of the points made in this essay intrigue me. I feel there's a lot to the queer voice, and I'm seeking to put my own spin on that out into the world. I would put All of Us Strangers in a category of high queer art, along with Moonlight and Todd Haynes's Poison.
