With due respect, I don’t find this compelling (unlike some of your other posts). There were Democratic primaries (as well as caucuses) across the United States, and Hillary got more votes. The scheduling of primaries had little or nothing to do with it. As for walking away from the Democratic Party, by all means vote for the best alternative among those running for office. But skipping a vote because the Democratic candidate is not “pure” enough, and letting candidates like Trump win, should not be considered a reasonable option for any progressive.
