Who the hell wants ‘team players’? I’ve always wanted the Stand-Out Performers, the Breakaway Thinkers, the Ones Who Find Better Ways; certainly not “followers”. Those Unique People inherently know they have to get along with coworkers, but they don’t agree with the definition used today of “team players”, i.e. members of a herd.

No thanks, give me leaders willing to speak-up and bring new value to the internal table, which is what keeps a business competitive.
