Friends and colleagues,

I'm pleased to announce that I've started a business called Fluent Investments LLC. Fluent is a private investment and advisory vehicle focused on Healthcare companies. I look forward to using my experience in multi-site and consumer-facing provider services to help companies and private equity firms in the emerging sectors of healthcare grow and achieve their goals.

I am looking for businesses in which to invest and be an active board member. Ideally, these would be growing businesses with $10 million or more in revenue and $1 million or more in EBITDA. I am best suited for the growing, scaling phase of a business; no startups or "shark tanks", please.

I'll also be looking to develop relationships with private equity firms who have similar goals, both as a potential LP investor and investor/advisor to portfolio companies.

Finally, I've developed a retreat workshop called Soul Work for Leaders. Soul Work is a one-day program designed to help management teams of growth companies refocus on mission, strategy and team-building. It's a great framework for a short, focused off-site retreat for teams in transition or in growth mode. The program is highly customized for each business and its particular needs. I plan to do a small number of these each year.
