Hispanics gave Florida to Trump, a greater percentage of Blacks voted for Trump than for Romney, but you are still in the narrative fed by the media (where judgments are substituted for facts, and guilt by association is the easiest way to dismiss and dehumanize an intellectual opponant . Thomas Sowell realized that racism/ethocentricism/prejudice are so widespread and pervasive that they don’t explain anything, like why a minority like the Jews prosper despite persecution and a minority like Blacks fall behind despite affirmative action. There is another way to think about these things, another way to experience reality other than the categories and language practiced in Ivy League cocktail parties.
