Stop it! Just stop it…

Why you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself

I’m from Cleveland. I’m 28 years old. I’m a diehard Cleveland sports fan. If you don’t believe me, ask to see my left shoulder. I now live in Sarasota, Florida. I came home for Christmas and my flight back to Florida is at 3:49pm today. Why is that important? I’ll tell you.

My entire life has always revolved around the same premise: “There is always next year.” Accepting the same failing results year after year, sports team after sports team. I’ve looked the New England area with envy for years. Each of their sports teams have brought home a championship, most recently the Red Sox. I want that. Bad.

One year ago I made a decision to stop it. I had enough of the cold, enough of the clouds and enough of the same old crappy sports teams with big dreams of “next year” and hope that maybe, just one day the Browns, Cavs or Indians will win a championship… Talk to anybody from Cleveland, it’s all we talk about. In fact, the Browns fired their coach after one season… #CantSayImShocked

My friends, there comes a time in life where you just need to stop it! Sometimes you need to just stop it… you need to check yourself before your wreck yourself… You need to stop doing the same boring stuff every day if you aren’t getting the results you want. Sometimes you need to burn the train and start over. Sometimes you need to change the status quo. Sometimes you need to change the scenery. #ForReal

Move if you hate where you live. Quit your job if it sucks. Do something spontaneous if you’re stuck in a rut.

Just stop it… Seriously. You’ll thank yourself later…
