CineNation’s Favorite Pixar Films

I am so happy you not only mentioned Pixar’s Incredibles, but that it was first and that it was considered a breakthrough movie, that turned Pixar into something adults have curiosity about when a Pixar film comes out. The movie on its own makes you want to know more and more, and why they didn’t make a sequel is something Ill never get, but I can watch any time it’s on and when I bought the DVD, the extras was not your regular, horrible two second mess ups, from actors or scenes that are so uninteresting you your glad they were left out, but one scene in thee movie when Elastic mom is talking to the babysitter, a lot is happening on the side of the babysitters line. She is a a high strung adolescent, and she is freaking out, while the mom tries to calm her down , she is in the midst of an adventure, and tells her to hold on and she’ll come back as quickly as possible…Spoiler alert. When you get the DVD you get an entire scene from what is happening at the house, and why the babysitter is freaking out. It’s something that could very well been a great scene in the theaters, but it’s humbly tucked on a second disc of the DVD. The youngest of the three is a baby named Jack jack, and is the only one to not have any magical powers. In the end you find out, but in the babysitting scene, which the babysitter alone is a great character, but Jack Jack is floating around, disappearing, turning into fire, amongst other things, while an anxious preteen is trying to figure out what to do…I highly recommend the DVD. It’s characters are all likable, and even superheroes have problems like middle age weight gain, and kids that fight like all siblings do. Everything is so well thought out. The home is a mid-century modern Eichler home. I have many friends that grew up in them. The front door on many have a doorknob in the center of the door. They didnt miss a beat, the doorknobs in the center. The styling, character’s and CGI are top notch. There’s one scene that the mom is riding on top of a space age vehicle that takes her to the action. I remember thinking, how did they get her hair to blow so realistically. It looks so real that it looks like a live movie……I could go on, but it is just something you have to see for yourself.
