Interview: Louise Bannister
Background: Being the co-founder and current assistant publisher of Frankie Magazine, Louise Bannister gets to mix her scones, crafting & love for mid-90’s indie rock with helping steer a magazine described as “smart, funny, sarcastic, friendly, cute, rude, arty, curious and caring”. Louise took time out from her busy day to answer three quick questions.
Q: What gets you up in the morning?
A: Apart from a persistent early morning crow, the fact that I work in a job I love with lots of people who inspire me.
Q: I’ve heard people say that success is dangerous as struggles build a sort of character / dogged-persistence in you. How do you keep your drive, your passion when everything is going well?
A: Because there are so many ideas, so it’s a constant process of developing those ideas and making them into something printable and beautiful.
Q: What’s the last book that you received at the right time & hit the spot?
A: Bossypants by Tina Fey. So much gold.
