I’ve been on twitter for 0ver 5 years. I’ve tweeted nearly 50,000 times. And I’m selling my 50,000th tweet for charity.

The rules

1. The money can go to any charity you pick,
2. Before I send out the tweet I need to see proof you’ve made a donation to them for the agreed amount,
3. I will tweet out any tweet you want as my 50,000th tweet from my @richquick account,
4. Provided it’s not illegal, inflammatory, derogatory, suggesting I or someone else endorses a product or organization we don’t, or otherwise dickish.

Other than that, I don’t really mind if it’s a funny tweet, a product promotion, or a quote from Miley Cyrus, or whether it’s sent from a company, a person, or a fictional animal.

Why?

Well:

1. I’m interested to see how much money it would get,
2. A charity will benefit,
3. I’ve clearly wasted far too much time on Twitter, so at least this will provide some meaningful purpose to all that time I’ve tweeted away over the years.
