The three issues listed shouldn’t be excused or justified. Block producers are rewarded more than enough and if someone is incapable of producing the blocks for whatever reason, then they shouldn’t be a block producer. It’s a very simple solution that shouldn’t be over-thought.

If the BP’s were fully aware that missing blocks was unforgivable and anyone guilty of it could lose their position, I believe the issues would be suddenly solved somehow, without the need of a tech solution.

I think its dangerous and irresponsible to link up all EOS block producers into one central plugin as it exposes the decentral network. It makes EOS more vulnerable to attack and some would argue it makes the blockchain more centralized.

I see the logic behind the plugin but I just think we need to be more strict with block producers. They are paid very well to maintain the network and we as a community should be demanding professionalism from the decentralized incentives that are allready in place.

We MUST protect the decentralization of EOS.
