School Isn’t Uber And Never Should Be

It’s possible to invest and express our value for human dignity with private, or quasi-public schools, too. The choice between public and private, to me, is really just a decision about the governing and accountability systems we choose to build into education. Schools, whether governed by a board of directors, or a publicly-elected school board, will be great monuments to the value we assign to our kids if the kids learn and grow. A failing school is poor reflection of us no matter the route the public money took to get there.
