Well Brook Butler, it is you who is ‘simply dishonest and ahistorical’ when you say, “ For centuries, white people have wanted their success at the expense of “the other” both here and abroad. From colonization, slavery and attempted genocide of Natives…” This is nothing unique to white people. White people suffered from endless waves of invasions by Asians, Middle Easterners, and Africans. The Persian EMPIRE invaded multiple times. Then came Hannibal and his African army. Then Muslim Arabs. And Mongols from Asia. And near-constant invasions from various Muslim EMPIRES across Asia Minor and into Europe from the 900s straight up until 1700. And Muslim ships didn’t make their last slave raid into Europe until the 1800s. speaking of which, virtually all African slaves were taken into slavery be their African brothers, either fellow sub-Saharan Africans or Muslims from North Africa. And less than half of them ended up being shipped across the Atlantic; the majority went to the Middle East and Asia.

As for the Native Americans, you are a mindless parrot of elementary-school propaganda portraying the Americas as a veritable Garden of Eden. The reality is that the Aztecs, Incas, and Mayans built EMPIREs through brutal conquest and enslavement. The Mayans and Aztecs also practiced infanticide and human sacrifice on a huge scale. In north America the tribes were often at war with each other. They used rape as a weapon of war and enslaved conquered tribes. They also engaged in genocide. The Erie are one tribe wiped out by their “fellow” Native Americans. The enmity between tribes was so deep that even in the 1870s, when it was clear that white people were wining, a thousand Sioux warriors attacked and tried to eliminate a group of 300 men, women, and children from a different tribe. The first white people Natives encountered were Basque sailors who fished off north America at least 100 years before Columbus. Natives murdered these sailors as they used a narrow strip of rocky beach to sun-dry cod for transport back to Europe. They also routinely butchered survivors of shipwrecks. The Natives who helped the Pilgrims didn’t do so out of the goodness of their hearts as your childish view suggests. They debated whether to mass murder these men, women, and children. The side arguing for helping them won out because they wanted the Pilgrims as allies in their wars with other tribes. Your view of Natives as peace-loving innocents is laughable brainwashing.

In more recent times Asians have committed genocide against Armenians, the Japanese killed 25 million people, most of them civilians, in world War 2, the Chinese killed 35 million of their own people in ‘the Great Leap Forward’, and Rwandans hacked to death a million fellow Africans in less than 2 months. The fact is that you are a spewer of lies, bigotry, and hatred. Your knowledge of history is the shallow parroting of the brainwashed. If you knew how profoundly ignorant you are you would be mortified.
