For most of us, our judgement on this matter is built on our own observations and reports of personal experiences of people with conservative voices.

When Dennis Prager of all people gets shadow banned as a voice of hatred, then you know right away that either the algorithms have been misconstructed, or some human intervention has occurred. Either way, the strong suspicion is that it was intentional.

Many conservative people report being demonetized, people whom I can attest, if you don’t follow them, are not in the least bit uncivil or unprofessional. Here too the strong suspicion is intentional silencing of conservative ideas.

It’s undeniable that the largest media houses, the Major Media, are liberal, and the conservative media are building from a small base with small sites. So algorithms that favor large size and large patronage will automatically favor the liberal voice and disfavor the conservative voice. This is obvious, so inclusion of that kind of filter intentionally is biased to the Left.

It’s insulting for people to argue that the filters are impartial, when we know they are not. It’s human beings, admitted to be Left leaning, that flesh out criteria like “hate speech” and “divisiveness” and “bigoted” with their tags and definitions. You can argue the technical details of the processes all you want. We form our conclusions on the outcome of the processes. And that outcome disfavors conservative voices.
