It’s time for us all to look at history as see that for many decades extremists have been trotting out all manner of “imminent crises” that never seem to ever happen. And their aim is always the same: If mankind doesn’t put our group in total control of all the earth’s resources, and if all societies don’t immediately live their lives under our rules, humans are doomed.

In other words, surrender all and do it out of baseless fear.

Extreme weather events are no more common now than in decades and centuries and millennia past; global temperatures swing even less now than in centuries past; seas are rising now at exactly the same rate they have been as long as accurate measurements have been taken. Glaciers melt and grow periodically through all of history. Climate is changing now exactly as it has for millions of years, and is caused by the same natural forces that have been at work since before there were humans; and exactly as it will keep changing long after humans do themselves irreparable harm following idiotic demands such as are in this article.

Stop being sheep, people. It’s a scam.
