Not at all. My degree was in chemistry, and in business I branched out into microbiology. I cofounded a small biotech company. I’m now retired.

While this is not climate science, I certainly know how to read scientific papers; I can spot weak arguments; and I can surely spot when manipulation, misdirection and outright fraud are being perpetrated.

I only mentioned it because I know from experience that every time I go against the “climate change consensus”, my credentials are denied.
