The election of a socialist government put all that in motion. All those contributing factors were worsened by the ideology of the socialist leaders. The elements that had created the Argentine economic success, elements that could have dealt with those challenges, were swept away by the anti-capitalist, undemocratic governments.
Argentina is just one of the countries in those same early to mid 20th century years that went socialist/communist. There’s also Italy, Germany, Russia, Cuba, China, other S. American countries. Two things they all have in common: economic decline and progression to totalitarian dictatorship.
It’s my observation that those who have to buttress their arguments with sarcasm and slurs don’t have much confidence in their own positions.
