Nothing is Free
Anna Senneff

The goal of campaign promises isn’t to actually do them, it’s to get elected. Bernie knows none of his largesse will ever pass Congress; even Democrat Senators and Congressmen know those promises can’t be funded.

Reminds me of the honey wagon I was following on a country road. (For all you city folk, a honey wagon is a tank truck that pumps out septic tanks and hauls the human waste to the sewage treatment plant.) Anyway, on the back of the tank was a large sticker: “This truck is full of politician’s promises”.

Just for kicks, can anyone name any thing in the world that has less value than a politician’s promise? I can’t.
