The issue is larger than firing Nazis. Giant corporations, who make their money selling their products and services, are now withholding said products and services from customers who, in the opinion of the corporate CEOs, hold political views the CEOs detest.

Youtube demonetizes them. PayPal rejects payment services to them. GoFundMe and similar crowd funding sites rejects their accounts. Google searches push their sites way down the list. Twitter CEO censors users he detests. And on and on, you get the idea.

So here’s the thing. If a Mom and Pop bakery or flower shops declines their services to a gay wedding ceremony, that is an offense of the same kind but vastly smaller in scale. The harm done to the target is no more than having to make another phone call. But the Left nevertheless demands the bastards be sued into bankruptcy.

But if a large corporation denies their targets access to financial systems, or opportunity to be funded or to earn money, that is again the same kind of thing but vastly greater in scope and magnitude and harm done. The harm done to the target is vastly greater than merely having to make another phone call. The target might even be fired, might be refused recommendation for another job.

Yet, the Left praises that kind of discrimination and harm, because the Left hates the people targeted.

So is it right and proper for a business to deny their products and services to specific kinds of customers, or not? Or is this a case where the Left claims authority to designate certain classes of Americans to be more qualified for protections than other Americans?

I think that is the case. The Left wants special protection for all their preferred political identity groups, and no protection for everyone else. Special treatment for Americans they like, and all others can go to hell. Sue the pants off a diner that refuses to seat a black family, but applause and kudos to the diner that refuses to seat a Trump supporter.

How is firing a neo-Nazi any different from Hollywood blackballing communist sympathizers? Which is now widely agreed was not a right and proper thing to allow. How is PayPal or GoFundMe refusing the business of a customer they disapprove of any different than a bakery refusing to make a custom cake for a gay wedding? Except that the Left likes the gay couple and despises the Trump supporter.

Now, Lefties, do you see anything that could possibly go wrong with letting this kind of discrimination persist and grow? Do you see anything dangerous about elevating some Americans above the rest of us for special treatment and special protections? Give it some thought.
