These gender issues are classic cases of conflict of rights. They should be resolved in a way to infringe the least amount on the rights of all parties while achieving the most necessary benefits desired. Not perfect results for one party, but necessary results for both.

What I see too much is the manipulation of such cases for political advantage. The result is too often a drastic and unnecessary infringement of the rights of one group to achieve a perfect result for the other group.

In a democracy, perfect results for some at the expense of serious infringement of others is not allowed. In cases of conflict of rights, some compromise is necessary. So far, I see no willingness of the gender activists to compromise at all.
