LYNCHBURG FIRE

Over the summer, members of the Liberty University Football team helped put out a two-story house fire in Lynchburg. In the process, the team assisted in rescuing a 13-year-old boy who had to jump from his roof. This past Friday, members of the Lynchburg Fire Department were on campus to thank the 10 players for their help.

FIRST CONVOCATION

On Wednesday, August 31, Liberty University held their first school-wide convocation of the 2016–2017 school year. A new policy was introduced to the students where they must now show their identification to be allowed into the Vines Center. Though it caused some congestion of students outside the stadium, the new policy will keep the students safer.
