sorry i get the anger, but soccer is an active sport (even 9-year-olds’ soccer) and depending on the length of those braids and the weight of the beads, it could pose a serious liability. what if someone on the opposing team gets whipped in the eye and sues the organization (not to mention loses an eye)? suddenly there is a $200k bill for bending the established rules in the name of racial sensitivity. who is going to risk that?
