Very on point. Every project has a deadline, but with a centralized engineering department and limited resources, it’s not like you get to finish that project and sail off into the sunset. Knowing how far your team can push and be able to recover quickly (and jump on the next project) is vital. Take the long view.

One challenge I face is how to avoid a final sprint leading up to launch. How do you recreate the same urgency you have a week before the finish line 2 months out to better manage risk of burnout?
