I’m Not Down With the Safety Pin Backlash
Anoosh Jorjorian

Very nice piece Anoosh. Bravo. I have been sporting a pin since last week, and the article in question offended me greatly. However, you’ll have to pardon me for being a little snarky- I have a problem with all the outpouring of outpouring of anger and shock. I was an elected Bernie Sanders State delegate for the State of Washington, which he won by a landslide. My problem is- Where the Hell was all this outrage six months ago when it could actually have accomplished something? It was all fun and games, as long as HRC won, and personally, I have smelled the stench of reverse sexism for quite some time now. Candidates with a 41.3 approval rating get easily beaten. I’m generally not judgemental, but I know myself. I would have one HELL of a time, had I voted Blue OR Red, seeing myself as enlightened, objective, and informed…..but that’s just me. It is MY belief that support of shoddy, questionable, candidates sets one up for getting EXACTLY what they deserve…..but that’s just my humble opinion. I am a new fan, and anxiously await you next piece. *shaka*
