The “ism” that will allow the human race to survive and advance through the 21st century and beyond has not been invented yet. Lots of “isms” have been tried over the millennia and each has come up short, as the current form of capitalism is failing today. Hopefully it can evolve in time. Futurist/economist Jeremy Rifkin has written extensively on this subject. His books “The Third Industrial Revolution”, “The Zero Marginal Cost Society” and “The Empathic Civilization” should provide food for thought.
