How to stop all the wildfires

I was driving the other day and I noticed a sign that said no parking because apparently it was a fire route — and I wondered, how do the fires know to stay on their route? And then I started thinking, maybe that’s the solution to all the wildfires — there’s no fire routes, so obviously the fires gonna just go anywhere.
The solution: Add fire routes to the areas where fires like to go, and that way the fires will know where they’re supposed to go. It just seems like a much safer and way more cost effective alternative than deploying fighters and using all that water to control the fires once they’ve already spread out.
I hope this idea gets to the appropriate decision makers!
