Don’t get me wrong I’m not knocking those who choose to not eat meat, my fiancee is in fact a vegetarian, technically an aquatarian as she eats fish and seafood.

But we are designed to eat meat, evolution shows, we discovered carbs via cultivation, I bet you’ll struggle to name one high carbon food that isn’t processed.

Followers of the ketogenic diet would advocate eliminating carbs completely, as evolution shows we have lived without them.

The body needs protein, to repair itself, and we can allegedly replace the carbs with fat, good fats mind.

And where does fat come from, meat, fish such as tuna. Both also contain iron, which I’ll admit you can get from greens.

But above all we’re omnivores, designed to eat anything that won’t poison us.

I write this not to offend, but to open a debate

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
