Antarctica, a continent that has been out of reach for centuries and a great mystery to humans, with bloody waterfalls, mysterious animals, underground lakes, and cities buried in ice. There are many myths and mysteries about Antarctica that have not been solved to this day. Antarctica is the only continent in the world where no one lives, with temperatures reaching -90 degrees Celsius. In addition, there are snow storms with winds of up to 300 km/h here. Likewise, Antarctica is also the driest continent in the world. It is surprisingly dry, even called a desert, with a rainfall of only 51 mm.

Who discovered Antarctica? It depends on who you ask, Britons. He is said to have discovered Antarctica, which the Russians say was the first person to set foot on the land, by the Greek philosopher Aristotle when he said that the Earth was round and that there was a North and South Pole. They face each other. A 2021 study by the Royal Society of New Zealand found that the Maori, who live in the Polynesian Islands near Australia, were likely the first people to reach Antarctica in the 7th century, because their old stories described an icy continent in the south of the land. According to recorded history, British officer James Cook was the first European to cross the Antarctic Circle and approach Antarctica.
