WHEW! 15 YEARS AGO I WAS IN DIALYSIS GETTING Treatment when my nurse, Betty, unexpectedly danced over and unhooked me. I was not sure what was going on as it was only about halfway through my 3 + year treatment. She told me you’re out of here! Many high fives hugs well wishes, kind words and 24 hours later I was sitting up in bed with my second successful double organ transplant. I had been there for a handful of years. I enjoy breaking up rides with full Kush, Santa Cruz Bicycle goodness, fun on my S.C Highball hard-tail. I ride some single track, mostly mixed Terrain, as my skill set appreciates long-travel goodness on the more techie terrain I truly love.
When I ride the Highball I often find myself reflecting on how I could have ridden a hard-tail on much of the stuff I rode just some 20 years ago. How spoiled I am and love it! Then there is my dear friend Noel Welch. I’ve known this guy as long as I’ve known anyone in my bike life…
