Are you planning to work as a Wolt/Foodora courier in Finland? Then you are at the right place!

Applying to be a Wolt/Foodora Partner is easy, but getting the job is not easy. All you need to fill out to make an application is your name, the city where you plan to work, and your delivery method (car, bike, etc) and that’s it. It’s that simple and takes only a couple of minutes.

Next comes the waiting game. It depends on the city, but in my case, it took just about 5 months to get it (140 days to be exact). I applied in the middle of April and got the job in September. I’d say in general it takes at least 3–4 months in less demanding areas and up to 2–3 years in Helsinki Central, so be prepared to wait and apply as early as possible. You don’t even need to be in Finland to apply, as long as you have the right documents already. I wasn’t in Finland during onboarding, and only received the gear 3–4 months after signing the contract. So it’s completely fine and you don’t need to worry about it. Just apply as early as you can.

After you get accepted, you receive an onboarding guide as well as more complex paperwork. The onboarding guide is simple. You download their app, go through the basics of working as a courier, and answer a few questions.

So, here are the key takeaways:
*Apply as early as possible, even if you don’t know which city you want to work in. It’s possible to change it mid-application by sending an email to Wolt support.
*You don’t have to be in Finland or work immediately.
*Be prepared to wait.
*Consider being a substitute if you really need the job as fast as possible.

Good luck!
