Life In An On-Demand World
I wrote up this little story/synopsis/scenario a few years ago but never posted it live on the internet somewhere. It talks about how a guy named Fred lives within a world where you can get anything done with your mobile device. Here it is in all it’s glory!
Life in an on-demand world with Fred.
Meet Fred.
Fred works at a technology company on the lower east side of techyhipsterville and seems to be a MacGyver of the mobile device. Throughout his day, Fred comes across many of the everyday American’s trials and tribulations. Except, Fred is a mobile master. He knows about every hot new app on the marketplace, Google plus, android and windows. It always seems to be uploaded on his device, her is never entering his credit card information… He just has it already functioning. Never will we see fred uploading a new app. He already has it. From day-to-day, Fred might not always be in the same scenario. He is very adventurous and knows what he likes. Some might say that he is selfish because one of the most important things to same is time and convience. If there is a faster way, he’ll find it.
Scenerios
Today was a great day. Once the Uber car got me to the store, my stuff was waiting at the Curbside pickup. I love all the natural ingredients.
At the same time I was dropped back off at the house, Postmates was arriving with the Chipotle Burrito bowl I had ordered on the drive back home. I walked up to the door, but realized I left my wallet in the Uber. I hit up Jose and he said “your wallet is safe and sound” I will circle back around and get them back to you.” Upon receiving the wallet, I realized I was missing my keys, and this time it was for real.
I brought up KeyMe and within minutes I found a locksmith who could copy it off my phone and let me into the apartment..
Being inside the house was pretty nasty actually. We had just hosted a small gathering of friends and the house was a wreck. I hit up GetMaid and the house was cleaned up in no time. A clean apartment is a happy apartment.
